Summer Starts Early in Moneyrea

8 Apr 2010

A Moneyrea resident is celebrating summer early after winning a wad of holiday vouchers from local energy company NIE Energy.

Rebecca Kernaghan from Moneyrea was entered into a prize draw to win £250 worth of holiday vouchers from NIE Energy after signing up to pay her electricity bill by monthly direct debit.

Rebecca met with Katherine McCann from NIE Energy to receive her holiday prize. Rebecca said: “Setting up to pay my electricity bill by direct debit was so easy and has a lot of benefits. I can’t believe I hadn’t set it up before.

“Paying by monthly direct debit spreads the cost of my electricity bill over the year. I like being in control of my finances and paying by monthly direct debit allows me plan my finances in advance.”

Katherine McCann from NIE Energy added: “I am delighted to be present Rebecca with £250 worth of holiday vouchers.

“By signing up to pay your electricity bill by direct debit you too could be making electric savings. Choose to pay your electricity bill with NIE Energy by monthly direct debit and get up to £40 a year discount off electricity bills, that’s 4% discount.”
