Comber based fresh produce firm Mash Direct has been served up with a very tasty deal by Northern Ireland’s largest business electricity supplier, NIE Energy.
Marking the end of a restriction on NIE Energy following further de-regulation of the business electricity market, Mash Direct is just one of the companies who have recently come back to NIE Energy.
William Steele from NIE Energy explains why the company is having particular success. He said: “In the past, NIE Energy’s hands were tied in that we were required by the electricity Regulator to only offer a published tariff, based on generic customer classifications. This restriction has recently been lifted which is great news for our customers.
“We are now in a position to offer competitive products designed specifically to meet our customers’ requirements, coupled with our unrivalled customer service.
“We are delighted to have won this deal with Mash Direct. It’s great to be in the position to offer our larger users competitive contracts. The return of Mash Direct and others show that our customers appreciate our transparent approach with no hidden extras or surprises.”
Martin Hamilton, Proprietor of Mash Direct added: “Mash Direct moved back to NIE Energy because we discovered that the claims made by other suppliers didn’t include all costs. When the bill arrived, we were worse off!
