Cookstown Man Gives Money to Black Santa

Ralph Graham from Cookstown who works for NIE Energy, presents two of the ‘Black Santas’  from St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast (pictured L-R) Reverend David Humphries and Canon David McClay with a £500 cheque from NIE Energy.  The ‘Black Santa’ appeal is one of the charitable causes supported by NIE Energy.

Started by Dean Sammy Crooks in 1976 when he decided to stand in front of the Cathedral and beg for poor and charitable causes, all the money gathered by the ‘Black Santa’ appeal is donated to local charities.
