Last Orders on Big Bills

6 Oct 2009

A Downpatrick pub has said ‘last orders’ to big bills by signing their business electricity account to NIE Energy’s direct debit and has won a luxury hamper, filled with locally produced goods, into the bargain.

The Castle Hill pub outside Downpatrick, which has recently been renovated and taken over by Patrick McAllister, was entered into the prize draw for signing up to NIE Energy’s direct debit and has walked away with the main prize.

NIE Energy’s Sarah Beldon recently visited the pub to present owner Patrick with the luxury hamper. Patrick from the Castle Hill pub said: “I am thrilled to get this hamper from NIE Energy.

“Signing up to direct debit only took a few minutes over the phone and it saves the worry of an unexpected bill and the discount with it is helpful too.”

Sarah Beldon from NIE Energy added: “Congratulations to Patrick for signing up to pay for his business electricity account by direct debit, through ourselves at NIE Energy.

“All NIE Energy quarterly billed business customers get 4% discount when paying by direct debit and monthly billed NIE Energy business customers get 3% discount.

“On average the discount saves businesses enough to pay for two weeks worth of electricity each year.”

Any business or household that signs up to direct debit can benefit from the convenience of hassle free billing. Choose to pay your NIE Energy household bill by monthly direct debit and get up to £40 a year off electricity bills, that’s 4% discount.
