A Coleraine business is a winner all round as not only is the business getting discounted electricity from NIE Energy, is has also won a prize for signing up to pay electricity bills by monthly direct debit.

Sol Air Environmental in Coleraine signed up to pay their electricity bill by direct debit recently and as a result, was entered into and won the prize draw.

Specialising in a complete range of environmental and socially responsible design and manufacture of sunrooms and conservatories, Sol Air Environmental has Eco-Quality designs aimed at reducing your carbon footprint.

Proprietor of the Coleraine office, William McIntrye, recently set the premises up on direct debit to pay the electricity and was entered into the prize draw. He says he is delighted to have won a luxury Marks and Spencer hamper for him and his staff.

NIE Energy’s Kathryn Kyle recently visited the business to present the hamper to William. William said:

“Direct debit is handier for me as running a business can be quite busy and it takes the pressure off paying a quarterly bill.”

All NIE Energy quarterly billed business customers get 4% discount when paying by direct debit. Monthly billed NIE Energy business customers get 3% discount.

NIE Energy’s Kathryn Kyle added: “Paying by direct debit means no worries about a bill coming in and you can spread the cost of the bill over the year.

“The discount also saves businesses enough to pay for two weeks worth electricity each year on average.”

Homeowners can also benefit from direct debit. Choose to pay your NIE Energy household bill by monthly direct debit and get up to £40 a year off electricity bills, that’s 4% discount.

Paying by monthly direct debit enables householders to spread the cost of their electricity over the course of the year, taking into consideration possible seasonal changes in usage. Customers will know how much is due to go out of their account as a monthly amount is set, giving customers more control.

Householders can also pay the actual NIE Energy bill amount at the end of the quarter and still get discount of up to £26 per year, 2.5% off bills.

Direct debit can be easily and conveniently set up by calling NIE Energy on 08457 455 455 (business lines open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm home lines open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and on Saturday 9am to 1pm).
