Meter readings (unless you have a half hour online meter)
You will be required to read both the generation meter and export meter and submit the readings to NIE Energy. NIE Energy will contact you when export meter readings and/or generation meter readings are required. For the majority of customers, this will be once a year. Where possible, customers will be asked to submit readings through e-mail. NIE Energy will send you a reminder when meter readings are required.
If you are managing your own Ofgem process Ofgem will notify you directly when they require generation meter readings.
You should take meter readings of both your generation meter and export meter on the date your Ofgem registration becomes effective.
