Half Hour Online Import / Export Meter
With this tariff, all generators must have a half hour on-line meter, which records the amount of units exported every half hour. The installation of a half hour on-line meter can be requested through the application form if NIE Energy is your supplier - NIE Energy will contact you to arrange this and to advise you of the cost.
If you require a half hour on-line import/export meter to be fitted and you are not supplied by NIE Energy you will need to contact your supplier who can arrange for one to be fitted.
NIE Energy will pay you on a monthly basis via bank transfer for your exported electricity based on data received from your half hour meter.
